I can see his frustration, but this is not how I'd go about proving my point..

No game justifies someone's anger of not being able to play it.

Holy shit, this is one of those times where humankind surprises me and shows me how LOW it can be.

I learned how to load a pistol when I was 7. It's pretty easy to load it even if you have no idea what to do.

And it's a fucking brainless task to reload a revolver.

BTW, I love how parents still don't see the ESBR thing and still blame videogames for being violent.

There's a difference between violent kids wanting to relieve stress playing violent games, and violent IRRESPONSIBLE kids wanting to play violent games.

From the parental point of view I would have let the child play the game, (and assuming I knew little about it) I would have sat and watched. And done the PARENTAL GUIDANCE that is expected of me.

Though overall the decision the kid made was too extreme, and it's 99% his fault for the situation he's in. That's how I see it.

I mean, he could have just knocked them over the head with something NON FATAL and ran to a friend's house to play. Or not even that, just take the game and go to a friend's house. The punishment that comes after that is way less.

I guess some people enjoy jail more than being grounded for a week.

From what I could understand, the case was way more complex. Just saying the fault lays entirely on the kid would be a bit harsh. I must say he may be already a serious case of violent behavior, though.

It's not like kids are conscious about the consequences of what they do.

EDIT: Oh, this guy is 17. Damn... he's nuts.

I would beat my kid within an inch of his life if he did that over a video game, or p much anything in general.

It has been statistically proven that the kids who were beaten growing up are more likely to be successful in life, as opposed to the kids who were coddled until they were 15.

I've been coddled my whole life but I'm a good young lad

Obviously I'm not representative of most young lads though

Shit, this dude is insane (and he's 17 my god). Anyways, he'll have to learn his lesson the HARD way by doing 'time' (& without any access to any video game now).

This guy is probably a bit sociopathic/insane/nihilist and over halo 3 that mainstream bastard, aside from the parent killing of course.
