Ive just heard one from a friend.

You take and XBox controller and cut its cable, yeah cut it.
Then you cut a USB cable, you can use a USB extension or one from a controller
you dont want or doesnt work anymore.
Reconnect the cables, connect both the USB and the XBox ends with the Xbox controller.

Then you should get something like this:

PD: Im not responsible if your controllers stop working, I havent tested it
myself so be warned (but It should work if you connect the Xbox cables
correctly).

Edit: I have tested it now and it worked just fine, however, it requires you to
be skillful or else... youll end up like my first try!

So all your saying is you modded your controller so you could plug it directly into the USB of your PC and swap between that and the xbox? You realize the xbox ports are usb to begin with right? Its not that amazing.

Better experiment.

Take an old extension cord and cut one end off, strip it, and split the wire on the inside in two. Then wrap each end around a nail. Stick the nails into opposite ends of a dill pickle.

or you could just get the 360 controller for the PC which is pretty much the same as the original controller, save for a few details.

although i dont think these kinds of rewirings are really new at all. i've seen stuff for virtually any console controller for years now, floating on the internet.

Mix 2 parts sulfuric acid with 1 part nitric acid. Soak a cotton ball with this mixture, and then rinse it thoroughly with water. Allow the ball to dry for a good amount of time. Then, take a heated glass stirring rod (it could be a match if you wanted but the stirring rod makes for a cooler effect) and touch it to the cotton ball.
