Looking to re-apply at Six Flags

Messed up on the topic title, was suppose to say "re-apply" not "re-hire" x-x
Anyway, I applied to work at Six Flags in October. However October was the last month of their opperating season. Howeverever, they were opening for Holiday In The Park, so I signed up for that. My pay rate increased last week and I was pre-moted the week before that to ticket taker.

And I only have about 3 more work days left, then I need to re-hire. Which I may do, but I need alittle help on which position I should re-hire for. These are a few positions I'm looking at;

Host/Hostess: Admission Attendant

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Provide data entry and processing for Fiesta Texas Season Pass holders. Guest service and data entry speed required.
Skills required: Process Fiesta Texas Season Passes in system, including taking pictures and entering data. Must have good communication skills.
Age Requirements: 16 or older
Availability Requirements: Days, Evenings

^ That job they gave me when the position I wanted was full. (Atleast I think it was this one, they have alot of Admission positions x.x)



Host/Hostess: Merchandise Host/Hostess

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Assist guests in selecting and purchasing merchandise throughout the park, as well as stocking and cleaning the store after cashing out.
Skills required: Perform sales and customer service functions. Stocks bins, walls, fixtures, and displays. Must be able to check in shipments utilizing a merchandise pick ticket.
Age Requirements: 16 or older

^ Original position I applied for, but was full.



Host/Hostess: Games Host/Hostess

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Generates sales at various game booths, arcades/redemptions, and attractions.
Skills required: Comply with Six Flags Fiesta Texas policies and procedures, as well as safety and fire responsibilities. Communicate with guests on one-on-one basis or through use of microphone. Greet and encourage guests/players. Promote games to guests and explain rules and objectives. Handle cash. Provide props and award prizes to winners. Keep immediate area clean and safe for guests and fellow team members.
Age Requirements: 16 or older

^ This one you work at either their small arcades or prize games. I'm not sure on this, I'm not that good on a mic, and I'm that good at talking loud. But then again, I might be able to work inside one of their arcades. This one is iffy. =/



Host/Hostess: Costume Character

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Make appearances for picnics and special events at Fiesta Texas.
Skills required: N/A
Age Requirements: 16 or older
Availability Requirements: Days, Evenings

^ Easy job. You walk out in a Looney Tune suit, hug and greet guests for about 20-30 mins, then go back home.




Host/Hostess: Park Services Host/Hostess

Position Type: Seasonal
Description: Responsible for wash-down, trash removal, sweeping park grounds, as well as other delegated tasks as needed to maintain parks cleanliness standards.
Skills required: Monitor all park grounds to ensure the integrity of the park is maintained, to include trash removal. Follows delegated tasks as assigned by the Area Supervisor, or as stated by policy. Perform all general and specific park operating cleaning duties, as specified.
Age Requirements: 16 or older

^ I kinda wanted a job where I walk around the whole park. So maybe this one?


That's about it. The one's I'm eyeing on the most are Park Services, Games and Merchandise. But, what do you think I should re-hire for? =/

The pay varies. Like right now I'm getting paid $6.25 an hour, which isn't that bad since I'm a hand-stamper/ticket taker =/

That's not minimum in Texas, minimum is $5.85 (what I get paid).

I totally just realized that the OP is in San Antonio, and talking about working at Fiesta Texas. I had season passes there for like... 4 years. XP

If you got the suit job, I'd totally run up and just hug random characters and scream BEMANISTYLE when I did it, and then run off.

Wait a sec... To me, that's roughly £2.96.

THAT CAN'T BE FUCKING LEGAL!! Yet I suppose things are a little cheaper over there so you probably have just as much disposable income as I do. I get paid £5.52 ($10.89) per hour so maybe I should do my shopping over with you guys
