Marketplace Rating: 0 | Man Files Handwritten Lawsuit Suing Google for $5 billion Whats in Googles Name? - Bits - Technology - New York Times Blog
"Last week, a Pennsylvania resident sued Google in federal court alleging that his Social Security number turned upside down and scrambled spells the name Google. In a handwritten complaint, the plaintiff, Dylan Stephen Jayne, asks for $5 billion in damages."
View the full submitted court documents here, including "a rather detailed description of how the Philadelphia 76ers play a key role in the code to unscramble his social security number to spell Google": Jayne v. Google Internet Search Engine Founders - 3:2007cv01677 - Justia Federal District Court Filings and Dockets
All nine documents are hand-written, and all are hilarious. It's kind of surreal because you know the guy needs psychiatric help, but the notion of somebody going to this much trouble to file this amount of stuff that's clearly ludicrous is funny nonetheless.
The second suit mentioned in the NY Times article above is almost as ridiculous, and you can view the document for that case here.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | What is his social security number? (And how do the numbers upside down spell 'Google', wtf.) Let me see...
61800...2? Yeah, I totally have this nutcase's social security number because he made a fuss over it and blurted out the so-called equasion to obtain the number. And for the record, what a retard. Google has six letters in it, not 9. SSN's have 9 numbers in it. Wow.

Only in America would people sue for something as useless as that...
:|
I swear, in that country, you could make a living of suing companies for whatever you can think of!

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I'm amazed at the stupidity in many people nowadays.
1) If you input google into a cheap 99cent calculator, upside-down it would be 600613.
1a) WHO CARES!
2) Umm... no one even knows that his social security is upside-down and scrambled in the Google name, so what damages!?
3) He says that it is SCRAMBLED!
3a) Well for crying out loud! There are plenty of other people in this world who can scramble their names to come up with something else... and he just happened to turn letters into numbers, upside-down and scramble 'em up and imagine them as letters again!
4 & 5) He's a dumbass. Everyone's probably gonna' look at him like he has no life after this.
