Movement wanting to ban Comic Sans typeface

No, seriously.

They want this type of font (as being shown right now) banned because they think it's "vulgar & lazy". There's even a link to an online petition to ban the font.

Believe it or not, the movement started in '99 & their mission is "to eradicate this font" and the "evil of typographical ignorance."

There's nothing wrong with the font. It has its places. The only reason people hate it so much is because it's so easy to use it in the wrong ways. I think the next release of Windows should have the Movie Maker stripped out.

I believe it is in Windows 9. Movie Maker's now going to be part of the Windows Live package.
