Marketplace Rating: 0 | My diet has gone to hell Sigh.
Last week, I played my first game of DDR in months.
The moment I finished ONE 7-footer, I had some very early nausea. I was playing on a bunch of Light Doubles songs and did that easy Heavy song on a larf.
My problem is that I can't handle many vegetables. Sure, there's greens and stuff and delicious, delicious CORN, I really have a hard time with vegetables.
And fruits for that matter, but I can handle that.
I guess what I'm asking for is for some vegetables that aren't so "harsh" on my tastebuds or recommendations to mix in the veggies with something else to mask the flavor or better yet, make it tolerable.
I would really appreciate it. I got around to DDR again only to get shot down because of my own goddamn self.
I am on the "thinning" side of the spectrum, nowhere near obesity or that sort. On the contrary, I'm a constant 130 pounds. I'm more deprived.
Also, I don't want vitamins. In fact, Centrum is giving me ulcers (yes, at age 21), albeit briefly.
DOUBLE ALSO: My mom, while she makes some good food, isn't home enough to cook. At least comes up with something twice a week. Any place that leads me to easy-to-make healthy food will be MUCH appreciated.

Marketplace Rating: 11 | Why do you mean can't handle? The taste, your body? Is there any particular kind you don't like?

You should check out the foodnetwork site. They have a huge variety of recipes on there, you're bound to find something simple that works for you.
EDIT: god i post slow. Like I said, foodnetwork has a lot of recipes. Many of which can cover the taste of vegetables and are very simple to make. Now someone teach me how to enjoy fruits cause they suck.

Beets, cucumber, tomatoes, zuchinni, etc. It's why I want something to go along with it to mask taste or make it more tolerable. Sometimes I can't handle broccoli so I chomp down some rice with it.

Have you tried putting the veggies in a salad? Sometimes dressing will mask the taste.

Otherwise you could just pin your diet to a strict plan, only eating what's planned when it's planned. After all, it is only food.

For those of us who are rarely home, it's hard to avoid eating out all the time. Fruits however make my lips and gums itch like crazy, kinda like if there were a bunch of ants walking on them and biting.
Reenee, try this recipe and tell me how it is. Recipes : Herbed Chicken with Spring Vegetables : Food Network
