My little 5-year-old sister wanted to get her ears pierced a few months ago, & my mom was alright w/ that....Is it just me, or do I find that alittle TOO young (she never did get them pierced)?

I concur with the gauges statement, and wouldn't do it myself (granted I only have one hole in my left ear right now anyways). I'm all for multiple ear piercings and cartilage though. As it stands I only have three piercings right now (right side of my lip, tongue and left ear) but I very much want to expand on that. Unfortunately I'm at a job that doesn't allow facial piercings (and I'd love to get my eyebrow re-done, it closed up years ago) so I'll probably have to settle on starting to get the cartilage piercings I want. I'm planning to get a few tattoos soon as well, but I'm still not 100% set on the designs and placement.

Oh well, eventually.

Well about the little girl being too young to get her ears done, I've heard of parents getting their childrens ears done as toddlers, before the child could even comprehend what was happening. I don't think it's too bad, it's just the ears, thats a normal, girl thing to want.

When it comes to other piercings, I do think it's weird. My mom never, ever let me get my belly button done, and I literally had to wait until I was over the age of 18 to get it. Also on topic, my piercer and I were having a discussion about things like this, and even if a girl comes in with her mom, and is under the age of 16 wanting a facial piercing, and the mother is alright with it, he will not do it. He says under 16 is too young for facial piercings.

Going back to the tongue ring thing, I was referring to the girl on guy oral aspect. I find it incredibly hard to believe that a tiny, plastic ball could make a HUGE difference in how oral feels. In fact, I've heard awful horror stories of said little ball getting stuck in little holes it shouldn't get stuck in during such activities x-X

When it comes to nipple piercings, I'm EXTREMELY particular. Must be barbells, no rings, and the girl has to have small breasts and small nipples/areolas. Otherwise, it just doesn't seem to do it for me. Obviously I won't be posting pictures of my breasts on here, but I meet all of those requirements, so think what you will lol.

Also, the dangle rule? Har har, it doesn't have to dangle for them to pierce it! Look at my sternum!

If I could think of a way to post non nude pictures of my nipple piercings I would, but since I can't...sorry dudes.

I think facial piercings are fine on teens, from a personal standpoint, as long as the kid is responsible enough to take care of them during the healing process there are no issues. I'd be more worried about a kid getting something done and not dealing with it right, and then having to go through infection and all that crap.

I could picture nipple piercings as you describe them looking good. It's just more typical to see them in every other configuration (including on guys) and as such I've never been too into them. If you really wanna show them off, just wear an extremely tight red shirt or something. Not see through, but could show the shape off. I don't think you need to show the piercing itself as much as the outline right? I'm not asking or anything, just commenting :p

And yeah, the girl on guy thing just doesn't really work from what I've experienced. Again I guess it depends on the person, I'm sure there are guys that are into it. And hell, if someone knows how to use it properly, I'm sure they can get around any less than pleasant experiences.

Surface piercings are definitely really cool, I just could never do it myself. In fact, I'm pretty particular about piercings on myself in general and I won't get anything below the neck done. I'll stick to tattoos for that.

tongue piercings + oral sex = goooood.

my bf has a 2g bar in his tongue. best ever. it really does help a lot a lot. i never dug the oral so much, but it makes a hugeeeeeeeeeee difference. love it. but it might be because it is so large. a normal sized one might make no difference, or just feel weird...

Mine is like a 14g and like I said, I've never heard anything but good things in regards to it. It really just depends on the person and how they use it. If someone's bad in bed or at foreplay, getting a piercing isn't going to do much to change that.

Let's not derail this though haha, this isn't the "post your body mods and talk about their sexual applications" thread.

I got my sternum piercing so spur of the moment, I was so scared, and then when I got it I found out it didn't hurt at all. Probably the least painful piercing I've ever gotten. Even though it isn't healing correctly, I still love it and think it looks awesome as hell lol.

I'll never get my tongue pierced, alone for the stigma that comes with it. That being "oh, tongue pierced, must be a slut". Not saying that this 100% applies for everyone, but I know that's something that a lot of people assume, and I would rather avoid being put into that at all costs.

It's bad enough I have my nipples pierced >.> lol

Also, I am like, entirely convinced that a tongue piercing could go well with the guy on girl aspect, it's just the other way around I'm not so sure about.

And so I have to ask, what is everyone's view on vaginal/clitoral or penile piercings?

I've never been a fan myself, although I plan to get a surface Christina piercing. Zoli Suicide has multiple vaginal piercings, and she's the only girl I've only liked them on.

Oh no, I assure you I read correctly. I just took your "I have a few others that I can't show you" thing as such. Yes, the public school system is fucked up, and this is why I peaced out from that and just started going to college. Best plan or bestest plan?

And yes, while this Christina is very cute, I find it hard to believe that I could ever mess with anything else down there, in the general area. I think alcohol poisoning would come on before I was drunk enough to consider that a good idea :[
