Haha, sorry Chibi, I intentionally took the pictures a bit disorienting to make the room seem cooler than it really is. Haha, it's cozy in here though, there is a definitely a laid back groove, as there are many earthy and woody tones. My room always feels relaxed.

The harsh flash of the camera strips that away though. Makes everything look uber bright.

That's exactly why I never use the flash in any situation.

Haha, your room is really cluttered though, I think your pics could benefit from some flash so we can see the finer details of your junk.

I mean, collections

My room is about as big as the space of your traditional dorm. Note that my room is nowhere near that bright; I had to use flash in my digicam to get visible pictures.

WARNING: Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong spoiler

Hint on the last two pictures: my right hand was holding the camera.

Something I found in my closet:

And something I finally accomplished:

Alright, so my room is FINALLY finished being built in my basement. Only took about 6 months or so, which I guess isn't too bad considering it was done by my dad and I. Anyway, I'm mostly moved in now, just have some random crap to move down from my old room. The room is pretty bare right now, cause I haven't had time to put up all of the pictures I've wanted. I also need to finished getting some framed in order to put up. Also, all of the music controllers are under the bed, which works very nice. Here's the pics of the new room so far:

Here's the TV setup with all the gaming systems on or around it. Surround sound will be hooked up shortly.

The futon for sitting / sleeping.

The new window that was put in. Had to dig a 6 foot hole that was 6 feet by 4 feet next to the house, then drill threw the house (causing dust to go EVERYWHERE in the basement) to get it in. Also isn't finished, needs to be framed in. Probably the worst part about building the room.

What will be covering the bare walls soon. Just need to get them framed.

The enterance and closet to the room. Closet hides all of the clothes, which is very nice. Makes the rest of the room seem clean.

The computer area with the bookshelf. Only 3 of the computers showing. Have a powerbook under the bookshelf, and another desktop upstairs.

Closeup of the computer area. Put in a huge desk, which is major improvement over what I had before. I actually have room for stuff!

Another shot of the bookshelf, which is still somewhat empty. Have more to bring down to put on it. Also the other window that was framed in.

Not bad for a basement room, looks a little more tidy than mine. Why in hell would you go through all that trouble for a damn window though? I have the dorky basement window at the ceiling thing and I covered it up because it pissed me off... I'm not much of window person I guess.

I'll post a few pictures when I get back form vacation.

I really didn't care if the window went in or not, but my parents wanted it in if their was a fire or anything. I had a basement room in my old house, but we didn't put a window in like this one. I guess now we're doing it to "code", so if we ever decide to sell the house it can be listed as an extra room rather then a den room or something.

This pic is kinda old.
Add Taiko PSP, FFIV Advance, and New Super Mario Bros DS.
Subtract Meteos, Castlevania, Metroid Prime Hunters.
