Marketplace Rating: 0 | [Question] How illegal/legal this is? Well, I was just wondering the following... If you download Videos from the Media Shop, for instance, the new Pump It Up Zero Videos, and you used your tokens to download these, can you re-upload them to your site or free server and put the links on your site or another forum giving the appropiate credits to bemanistyle.com for ripping the videos? Is it allowed or simply illegal? Sorry if this question has already been answered, but I coudn't find an answer anywhere. Thanks anyways

HAHA FUCK YOU BITCH I'M TELLING THE FBI RIGHT NOW
Seriously though, it isn't a big deal and nobody will really give a shit, certainly not to the extent of violating federal law.

mmm... that's a good question... maybe AM can be mad about the vids, but, for the people is too good to have it their PC's... and, AM have a lot of problems with piracy, mainly in mexico, but, the compañy don't have a realaction about this...
and, how can the compañy make something about piracy if in mexico, the most pumper country, don't have licensed or legal products?
try to find an original cd of prex 3 pc game in mexico... is practically impossible to do this ^^

I'm pretty sure the token system is primarily meant to prevent people who don't contribute in a meaningful way to the site from sucking down bandwidth; if you host it yourself, then they're not the ones paying when people download it. If someone with authority contradicts me, listen to them, though. Heh.

Marketplace Rating: 1 | Here's the thing. The reason bemanistyle has the shop with tokens is to avoid people from using bemanistyle's bandwidth without contributing to the site. If it's hosted on your own website, more power to you. That's bandwidth you'll be burning and not bemanistyle's bandwidth. And I'm sure bemanistyle uses it's connections to get the videos from somewhere else, so whatever.
Just don't charge money for access to the videos and you won't have AM banging down your doorstep.

Seriously though, this is a major grey area legal topic. I can see how some people can be opposed to it since it was content that first appeared on here so I usually figure if I wanna show it to somebody I'll just send them the file directly.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | Indeed, in Mexico it's really hard to find original Prex 3, thanks god in Monterrey (major Mexico city I live in) we have very few Prex 3 Mods, and about 3 original Prex 3, exceed 1 and 2, and lots of Zero.
Well, back to the topic, ok, so it was due to bandwidth. Well, I'll download the videos and share them with my own bandwidth giving all proper credits to this site then. Awesome work in ripping the videos BTW.
Oh, and thanks all of you, for replying so quickly, see ya.

Mexico loves their really hard songs on nightmare. I saw a "tatsujin" video of some dude doing a 20 difficulty nightmare song, and heck if I didn't go nuts when everyone suddenly starting speaking in mexican dialect.
Koreans love their freestyle more, but they are both equally good and interested in the game for some reason. I can't explain why pump did so well in mexico and DDR didn't catch on as effectively.
