Bar raping in PIU is good for the abs, by the way.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I think it's legal since I'm fairly confident that Bemanistyle got permission for Andamiro to host them on the sitee. It has been pointed out several times on the old forums by the mods that BMS is on good terms with Andamiro and they wouldn't risk anything to ruin it. They did not allow clean Zero background images until they got an okay from Andamiro themselves, so if they can host the PIU vids, then they must have gotten an approval from them personally. They know that this site exists and that there are downloads, so that means they are okay with Bemanistyle hosting their original background videos.
EDIT: So many typos. | |

Then I kinda tried some stuff on Freestyle and pretty quickly worked my way up into Nightmare. DDR doubles are pretty fun compared to DDR not-doubles; I rarely play singles on DDR anymore. I find Pump doubles to be way more fun than DDR doubles, though. The pad layout flows a lot better once you get used to it.
Yeah, the only DDR machine I ever really play on is the 4th+ at a nearby arcade, which has joint premium on. Also, how are doubles in ITG? I've heard really bad things about it, and I'm not fond of the game in general, but I found out there's an ITG2 somewhat close to me and I've been thinking of trying it out.

They start of pretty well flowing and fun to play on easy settings, but once you get to hard and expert, the songs become stupid and you commonly see large amounts of arrows to press (sometimes 4 to 5 at a time, one song has 6) and you get funky 1p and 2p up or even worse 1p up to 2p down presses that just aren't fun.

I don't know the exact terms to our current agreement on them, but I'll ask the guy who got it all setup for us and post back here with it. I don't want anyone to get attacked for something we made available.

Andamiro did give us the OK on hosting them provided that the videoes were downsampled considerably from their original quality, and be in a condition that they couldn't be used in a simulator (like KIU) so that someone could make a bootleg machine with the BGA's from the original game.
So in short, it's pretty much your business what you do with the videoes.

However, these days it seems pretty unlikely anybody will actually care. Note that I'm speaking for US copyright law, but copyright law seems to be converging onto a common level of crappiness these days.
In the US, it's only "illegal" if you circumvent a protection device to do your copying. Then it's ten years/$10 000 for you. (I'm not sure if that's per offense or not.)
Since BMS apparently has some sort of agreement with Andamiro, though, I'd say it would be common courtesy not to redistribute them, depending on the terms of the agreement, since they could have just said "No, and now we're watching you so if you do host any videos you're screwed".

Marketplace Rating: 0 | That's good news then, I had no idea that Andamiro actually had some sort of agreement with us.
In either case, I think people will still be using the videos and whatnot for their own sims and will possibly host them elsewhere seeing as that is what a large majority of the people on here do anyway.
