The first one just because it sucks that bad, and the rest because they're overplayed. | and seeing Flex's post following mine: Quote: |

This meant that the songs most played on the demo were the first-tier ones.

If I ever work at a music store, I will be instituting the following policy: Thou shalt not play Iron Man, Smoke on the Water, Sweet Child o' Mine, nor Stairyway to Heaven, lest thou find thine ass upon the outside pavement. | I figured I'd make this thread.
So guys, for those of you who are unlucky enough to be working in customer service, what do customers do that annoy you the most, and what have you done to exact revenge on annoying customers?

Trust me, I've seen a number of people get written up at Best Buy when Mosiac came in and found out that the demos were getting turned off because people didn't want to listen to Guitar Hero all day.

Our reps don't come by without calling us first, we're on first-name basis with ours. =D
And lucky for us, Sony doesn't control what we do with the PS2 anymore, just the PS3. We CAN, however, control the volume whenever we please... so the 360 Guitar Hero III demo gets muted occasionally.
We know our loopholes. ^_^ Quote: |

Note: Daughter is approximately 10-11 years old. And she's pleading with her dad the whole time.
"Sure, why not?"
"Well, I just want to make sure there's nothing objectionable on here."
"There's no parental advisory sticker. The basic lyrical themes are just about having a good time with friends."
"Okay, I'll take your word on this, but it'd better not be dirty!"
"No worries here."
Ask a dumbass question, and I shall give you a jackass answer. Notice I did not lie in that dialog. I had no worries, the girls are about partying, and there is no PA sticker. I'm not going be your kid's parent, asshole.

True story - Some mom comes up to me and waves Manhunt 1 in front of my face, asking if it would be suitable for her 8 year old child to play. I simply replied "I haven't played it ma'am, but if you find any objectionable content, you have 7 days to bring it back." She bought it, and took it home. (Note I actually never have played Manhunt 1)
Not even 45 minutes later, she brought it back fuming, and demanded to speak to my manager. He came out, and backed me up, stating that I don't even own a PS2 (which I don't, I only have one that my friend is letting me borrow), and that I wasn't lying.
The whole thing could've been avoided if she'd just read the back of the fucking box.
To quote my manager - "The customer is rarely right, and often stupid."

They rented some R rated movie, can't remember what it was, but then one of the girls must have got upset when they got back and started watching it cause her mom called the store and bitched at me. I was like, look lady there was an adult with them, I'm not their babysitter. Blame the other parent for being an ignorant bitch. The lady even called my boss the next day trying to stir up shit but I'd already told her about it and she was on my side.

That must be nice, not having to re-alphabetize shit that little kids threw into random places in the store.

ive worked the service desk / video game department / whole store... and there is a story that points to humans being idiots in every way possible.
i honestly have no faith in humanity after working in retail.
serious.
oh and they [the game reps] wont get mad if you shut the stuff off when dumb people are playing...
in fact if they ever leave promo stuff and put it up or whatever, you can just take it down and bring it home. :P it is YOUR store afterall, not theirs.
and im sure they understand that listening to bad guitar hero is just NOT GOOD. plus our activision rep was a BITCH. pissing her off would be a good thing in my opinion!!
but anyway... no more customer service for me SUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!
