Stepmania youtube Video

So apparently people started taking videos of themselves doing songs on stepmania with their fingers. At my friend's request I made one too! The song is Xepher and the stepchart belongs to Eggman. What do you guys think about the video and about stepmania videos in general? Also hopefully this link works.

If you are doing a video with that kind of score, you should probably show judge.ini so people can see that you didnt just rig the timing to have 3/4 of a second window for marvelous.

Decent video quality though.

I don't try messing with any of those .ini files. My friend tried changing my c300 mod to c750 in metrics.ini and screwed my entire theme up. I had to find a replacement theme and set it all up properly. So I don't even attempt to tweak those files. Also, if the timing window was that big, then the windows for each arrow would run into each other in that song. I was doing 16th note streams at 170 BPM. A timing window of 3/4 of a second would overlap at that speed.

You dont have to tweak it, just go to the judge settings and show that the timing is right. It's very easy to change those and then go into options and say "See, AAAA with judge 6"

Just so you know. Doesn't really bother me, it's just that there are people who will call bs and stuff.

Showing the settings really doesn't mean anything, anyway. It wouldn't be too hard to show the settings, then change the settings and go play, then afterwards cut out the part of the video where you changed the settings.

Any video can be rigged, so you need a live witness to be able to prove anything.

Oh, and your video does look pretty good, DannyS86. Please don't think I'm trying to accuse you of anything; it looks like you've got a good accomplishment. I'm just speaking in vague generalities since the topic was brought up.
