Swine flu isn't as serious as everyone on TV and their moms want you to believe. Heck, I live 2 hours away from Mexico City, and so far there's no confirmed cases of swine flu in my city (and the 2 very similar cases detected were treated fastly).
People was alarmed at first because the cases of death caused by this new flu in Mexico were mixed with other deaths caused by completely different things. It's not like people doesn't die of pneumonia or something like that.

Only good thing from this: I got one entire free week because of the alerts and those classes were totally cancelled.
Still being in the eye of the hurricane is annoying. 4 days ago I ago to go visit the doctor because my head was aching and the muscles of my back felt like hell; doc just told me I was too tense because of all the collective hysteria around here, with all the rumors and stuff.
I wish I could watch Fox News. I do really want a laugh now.

First case has been reported in Hong Kong and in South Korea. Just 1 reported case from each respective country however, these cases would be treated as well in a matter of time. I still can't believe why WHO would go to Alert Level 5 if the death count is extremely low (compared to other illnesses/sicknesses such as AIDS, Cancer and normal flu which kill people in the hundreds and thousands) and if the number of infected patients who are recovering from it is increasing. Why not focus more on those other diseases instead?
Just my say on that matter.....
