Yeah, stuff like that show how useful twitter can be. Like when snow fell all over the UK, the #uksnow hashtag was used by some people to develop a real-time map that showed how thick the snow was in places.

The more I hear on positive feedback about this, the more I'm tempted to get into it. Of course, I'm still not fully sure myself as I tend to get lazy in regards to these kinds of things (heck, I'm too lazy nowadays to even check up on my friendster, multiply and plurk accounts).
