I suppose when it comes to dreams, it seems that weirdness is sort of expected. Given that assumption, mundane dreams might actually be weirder. My brother hardly ever has a dream that features something that he doesn't already do in real life: things like going to school, playing video games, doing dishes, stuff like that.
His dreams suck, I'd say, more than violent yet interesting dreams.
Speaking of which, I haven't had a nightmare in a while. I miss nightmares...
Anyone know how I might be able to bring one about on purpose?

Oh! I just had one last night.
In the dream, my family left for a trip, and I got left behind. I tried to chase the car that they were on, but I failed. Then I woke up.
Somehow I think this might be a sign of things to come. Or it could be my mind mashing stuff together. | |

I had an awkward dream last night.
I went to the Olympics, and performed 'Get Together' by Madonna live hanging from a string... Without any clothes on, except for a skanky bikini, and I looked like a transvestite pinata, and strangely enough had all of the female athletes, and male athletes falling head over heels for me.
The next part, a friend of mine performed 'Material Girl' and simulated sex with one of the male swimmers, and was arrested by Italian police for indecency. I then run up on stage, fully clothed, and yell 'I'm not your bitch! Don't hang your shit on me!' Sad thing is I still looked like a transvestite.
I then woke up, and write a song... | |

Alright, I had a dream that's been disturbing me for days now. I had a dream I pulled a piece of my head out. You know how you take a roast and you pull the meat away from the fat after it's cooked and you kinda rip it? Yea, I ripped a large chunk of my head out from between my eyes. It smelt like raw meat (obviously) and I just kinda stared at it and felt the hole with my fingertip. Then I woke up.
It's been creeping me out ever since.

Last night I was dreaming that I was killing zombies at a playground according to the rules of The Zombie Survival Guide. For some reason I had a spear with a tip that resembled that of a fireplace poker. I was making good progress inside the wooden playhouses despite some snags with the spear in a closed area, but I managed to kill off most of the zombies inside the house and escape to kill a couple more outside. My little brother and sister were watching outside as I was demolishing the crowd single-handedly until one snuck up from behind and bit me in the shoulder. I let out a resigned "Oh, man" and laid down until I woke up.

A few weird dreams from previous nights:
- I found a half-prose version of a manga that I really like; it was in a bookstore in a huge mall.
- (Bemani-related) I met Naoki Maeda and Junko Karashima. We got into an elevator, then it got stuck, then I asked what jun thought about Des-ROW's songs. She said they were good.
- I was playing a violin at home. Then I went to the airport, where I bought locks and had a noodle bowl, and was talking with the waitress about a cartoon character that became a nutritional ambassador.
So surreal yet unbelievably soothing. | |
