Where Do You Work?

I work in an aircraft storage yard taking parts off retired 747s (and other planes) for re-use on ones still in service.

I work at Raptr, where I sit at a computer and install shitloads of video games and patch them incrementally for 8 hours a day.

We went public (sorta) on my 21's Birthday at GDC so that was really cool.

I love my job, however at the end of the day my brain has drained out my ears.

I work at Zeller's in a shitty area of town. Our clientele is 100% composed of drug users, drug dealers, the elderly and single welfare mothers. The pay is decent for part-time at $9.20 an hour. Perks are 10% discount and basically cool co-workers. I used to work out on the floor, but since I wasn't a shitty worker I had to pick up for the rest of the shitty workers (read: everyone else) and since I knew how to do a lot of different things compared to other (read: could operate a till, the basic inventory system, perform all tasks associated with my position, basic stockroom tasks, am large and male and thus a carry mule) I got swamped with a lot of work and it was too much stress for $9 an hour.

Now, I work in home electronics, which basically means I deal with slightly less people overall, and slightly more retards. I usually do all my work really fast and stand there for five hours.

Cashier right now for Wal-Mart...it sucks balls but I make $10 an hour...looking to transfer to electronics soon to put my nerdy wisdom to some good use
