've recently become a DJ at my local college radio, and I'm looking for artists who would like to share their music on mainstream radio, for free. This means free publicity, along with me announcing people's websites or where to buy their music to the college community.

I'm looking for all forms to techno and electronica. Your music must be profanity-free, and be legal to play on the air (meaning don't rip off artists to hear your favorite stuff. Only remixes/original content)

Hi Sil. We've actually got a dedicated music production forum, so I'd recommend cross-posting this thread there as well. I don't know if all our resident musicians post in there so I'll leave this thread open for the time being so that you'll get as many submissions as possible.

I would absolutely take this up if I had a place where people could buy my music, because as of now it's just free downloads on acidplanet. I do have a way to get music on iTunes, but since UCSB blocks all my torrents and FTP clients, I have no way of uploading them.

Thanks for the heads up about the production forum!

I wanted to help out the music community in a way and make a difference. I'll be getting a segment soon, and I've been pretty involved in the electronica scene for a while, as I'm a composer myself. I want to give the field the content distribution it deserves... mass radio. I also want to help out the artists who need more publicity. Since radio streaming online isn't very widespread, I figure that a college radio station can give an artist quite a name for themselves in the real world.

It's not too late to submit your music! Shows are Tuesdays from 6-9pm, and your music may appear on the next week's show.
