No, but the police in new jersey generally take body armor as intent to do Something Stupid(tm). We do have the most restrictive gun laws in the country. With 32 firearms including assault rifles, I'd say Body Armor is a pretty good sign of something wrong.

Our underfunded police force here could use those firearms and ammunition. In fact, hundreds of our local policemen here don't even have a firearm (:facepalm

. So yeah, such would be a welcome here

Course in AR, and most of the middle of nowhere south, finding that many in a home wouldn't be an odd sight whatsoever. They have gun and knife trade shows all the time here...and people that collect them are enthusiasts and usually shoot guns on the weekends for recreation and a good amount of them probably carry concealed but you wouldn't be able to tell anyways. Most don't even think about using a firearm in an aggressive situation and only in case 'the worst happens'.

Course, I've known some people bad enough to kill a razorback with nothing more than a knife. Scary shit. Wouldn't want to get on that person's bad side.
