Anyone know the value of Pokmone cards??? Nintetales misprint...

Hey, I don't frequent Pokemon forums much, so I have no idea on the value of the base set card, but I'm trying to earn some money for an arcade game upgrade.

I stored my Pokemon cards away a few years ago, and remembered I have a misprint Nintetales card from the base set. I searched ebay for it, and it looks like this fetches a decent amount of money. I was thinking about putting this up if it would fetch a decent amount. Does anyone here know the going rate of this card?

Its the misprint from teh base set that is missing the 80 damage mark. Thanks to anyone who can help. I'll post a pic if anyone needs to see it. I know this isn't a Pokemon forum, but I'm sure theres at least one person on here that would know. They got pissed at me on the Pojo for asking about this.

I have a bunch of them, they aren't worth shit to anyone. Should've sold them when people were still big into Pokemon. Get online theres a pricing guides per card. Like 10 cents each etc...

I'm just going to save my notebooks full of cards until the day I can go on Antiques Roadshow and they'll cream at my 1st Edition holographic Blastoise.

I remember when I got a first edition holographic Electrode, and since it was the second rarest card in Jungle I thought it would be worth a ton. Then I looked at the price guide, and it was the least valuable holographic card in the whole damn game ($15).

I had a first edition holographic Aerodactyl too (rarest in Fossil), but they weren't worth much either considering ($25-$30 if I recall), and shortly after I got it I accidently left it at my friends house, and his little brother "cut it up with scissors".

I couldn't care less about Pokemon cards now, but you still couldn't pay me to sell my Haunter collection...unless you payed me a lot.

ugh not pokemon cards. i wasted so much money on a game that i think maybe 1 in 20 people i knew actually knew how to play. that game is the most counter-intuitive card game ever forced on 6 year olds.

i think i did look some of them up and found out they were worth no more than what i paid for them so i just stuck them back where i found them really.

God, Pokemon cards take me back a bit, to when I introduced another buddy of mine, who also played Magic with me, to the game.

It was in the original set, back during the "where the fuck can I find cards in this town?!" frenzy. Two packs left at Target. We buy them. His first friggin' pack.

He got a holographic Charizard, first edition. I almost punched him.
