Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: I beat 43 challengers in a row, all thanks to the Sentinel-Dr. Doom Cable combo, and some random ganster ass Mexicans who tried to beat me.

last post reminds me of fighting game streaks... so here's some interesting stuff I've done over the years.

74 wins on Marvel vs. Capcom 2
62 wins on Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact
57 wins on Street Fighter III: New Generation
56 wins on Mortal Kombat 1
49 wins on King of Fighters '97

there's been others but I think those were the longest.

Another TC:II accomplishment.

I beat that game like 3 times today. To me, that game is just a 15 minute time killer.

My highest score on MVC2 is 222,000,000 [but not rounded that nice] I don't know how well that stands, seeing as our machine doesn't get much play [or holds scores]. It was just me doing Cable//Juggernaut//BB hood rape combo the entire time.

I couldn't stand playing MVC2 for 74 wins. I duck out when I'm 10/0.

a challenge for anyone who likes to have fun. Play HOTD one and take all alternate routes and see if you can rollover the scoreboard. The top score on our machine is 1,034.

went to a shmup meet in LA and ran the board on all of the games there, top score on all games except espgaluda 2 at the last minute, ugh

but seeing as i only had experience with giga wing and dodonpachi and only giga wing was up at last, i guess thats pretty decent haha

oh and also

i am the fucking king of the fast and the furious arcade game

seriously, like unstoppable, if anyone plays that post some of your times (and if anyone knows how to beat the mullohand drive course without being a fucking psycho and wrecking into everything to slow yourself down, tell me)

No MAME. MAME has save states, even though it doesn't work great, it's still lots of room for cheating scores.

I say mame counts if you film it with an actual camcorder, i.e. don't record it directly from the film, and show your fingers w/the screen.

Anyway, back on topic, anyone do well on Ranger Mission? I usually can get through the first mission with an A grade and thus get to the 2nd mission, but I always have trouble with stage 3.

This thread only applies to achievements made after crying yourself in your heart after letting go of your precious coins and/or similar-shaped circular metals with no real face value. Unless you rig your PC to have a coin slot with MAME running. :P

And now with sheer luck I beat Silent Scope 1 with one credit, had half a life left, 40+ seconds time, and around 650,000 score. I had corner scope, though, so it may be less of an achievement.

Regardless of that fact THE BOAT EXPLODED.

Time Crisis 2; its taken me fricken yrs to accomplish, but i finally cracked the 1.5 mil barrier

totally owned the other scores man~

got all the yellows, but i fucked up my combo on the satelite. i could hav gotten about 25,000 more points if i didnt miss.

Crisis Zone; finished that with one credit too approx 5.2 mil

Time Crisis 4; finished with one credit approx 2 mil. i dont like this game.

Yesterday, me and my wife together got a 22 gaming streak on Tekken 5 D.R. using Lili, and our card went from 3rd Kyu to 1st Dan.

Because of that...We were ranked 2nd in Greatest Survivors by 8 wins back.
