I've been waiting for an English/international version release for many months now.

Thank heavens for this announcement to come true.

Which means that this thing appears to be "officially" heading overseas (outside Japan). Now that is killer (unlike VF5 which is just stuck in JDM land with plans for an international release shelved by Sega).

Too bad not a single arcade around here has had a 2D fighter since 2000 or so. But a home version, that would be good.

Funny thing is, locally, we just started getting some decent shit in here.

That an a PIU Exceed GX cab. I figured this place in the middle of nowhere wouldn't have any of it but I was surprised to find an ITG2 cab (in bad shape) close to where I was.

Anything's possible if you beg enough and be a third wheel needing grease; may take months.

Ahhh dunno...if it's HD I'd be thinking it'd be more bound for PS3 than PS2.

I too didn't care much about SNK vs. Capcom anyway (even during the earlier series when it was released on Dreamcast).

What I do care however is for the local nearby arcade of mine to sell Metal Slug 6 (or send it to a branch in the rural province) and then let Arcana Heart 2 take its place in exchange.
