Capcom Fighting Jam, the biggest insult to the fighting games' fans EVER. It's incredible to believe that this thing was played in Japan during 2 or 3 months :/

Why, Capcom? Why did you cancel Capcom Fighting All Stars, and you give us this thing?

That had to be one of the most pointless games Capcom has ever put out, and they've put out their share. What happened Capcom? You used to be cool.

That division was probably closed because 2 of their main fighting games' producers (Yoshiki Okamoto and... fuck, I forgot the name of the other guy) left Capcom.

Because All Stars was worse than CFJ/CFE. Enough that the game never made it past beta, and Capcom denies it existed.

Actually it was because Capcom suffered too many losses back in 2002 I believe, and didn't see a future in producing any more arcade games (they basically shot themselves in the foot with MvC2), that was their official press release announcement. CFAS and CFJ weren't even supposed to be released.

yeh, imo capcom has been going downhill now, they had lots of fun games, like mvc, mvx, but now other arcade games are much better, e.g tekken, kof (even after so many series) i still see lots of ppl playing kof, ggxx etc

Capcom seems to be making some more interesting titles now. No fighting games, of course, but Resident Evil 4 beats Yet Another Street Fighter 2 Compilation or some varient there of.

CFE was really bad... I dunno how All Stars could have been much worse. The EX Street Fighters were better then CFE was... And some new stuff sure beats rehashed crappy stuff. Capcom's last fighters were all Dreamcast titles and ports from there.

What sucks about it is that the could have spent all that energy they put into releasing CFJ and gave me Moeru! Justice Gauken 2 or something.

Yeah, saw this review already. The Big Smile Time dude is creepy as hell. You should also check out his other vids.

As for CFJ, two words: LOL MUGEN.

Wait, wasn't Marvel vs Capcom 2 insainely popular?

How did that harm Capcom?

A group of retarded looking monsters will appear and you will take turns hitting each other. When it is all over you will get 648 Gil and a fire ring. Why the 12 foot tall monster with no hands had a fire ring that fits everyone from you to your grandma will still be mystery to man.

Very expensive licensing and the home version sold like garbage. Doesn't help that few copies of the game were actually made. The PS2/X-Box versions might as well not even exist.
