Anyone excited for this game?

It should be on the Wii in April and maybe they'll put it out on the 360 as well

Just hope the dub/translation makes sense unlike #2

Shikigami no Shiro 2 on DC was awesome
I hope they bring more shooters to the Wii

Bangai-O is being released on DS

maybe we can hope for a port?

I'm a bit disappointed that the 360 port isn't coming here as well. I liek achievements.

Still, any shmup release in the US is good.

oh god, I hated the translation for part two, and I have still yet to beat it

You would think that the voice actors would say something like, "You know does does not make sense?"

Trying to understand what the fuck the game just said is half the fun.

The game alone is a blast, and the translation+voices is icing on the cake.

I should be adding more of the character team videos from Castle Shikigami 2 within the month

This is being released by the same company that localized the Wii port of Guilty Gear Accent Core. If that's any indication, then there's nothing to worry about as far as the integrity of the translation goes.

That said, Aksys is doing a great thing in the gaming industry and more companies need to be more like them.

I felt like...I was missing something in II. Either some subtlety of the scoring system was evading me or it was really easy, and I've never been clear on which it was. If the price is right on a localization of III, I'll buy it, of course. There's no such thing as too many shoot 'em ups.

^The stage 1-2 (Co-Op) video has an example of the translation / english voices for one of the boss fights. Well, it's better than 2's at least, but then again, what isn't? But I donno, I personally loved the horrible translation that 2 got. So many hilarious quotes.

Yeah, that sucks that they're not bringing the 360 version over (but, after Senko no Ronde really didn't sell to well here and the 360 version of this game not getting localized, I'm starting to doubt whether any more of these retail shoot'em ups on 360 are gonna get a us release). I don't really care about achievements, but I've heard that the 360 runs the game a little better than the wii does. I have the japanese version on 360 and it has no slowdown at all.

But this is a pretty fun game. The only (minor) complaint I have is that some of the new characters are either the same as, or slightly altered versions of, some of characters from 2 that aren't in this one.

It's a shooter, who cares about the dialogue?(Ok, ok... I appreciate a good translation myself...)But seriously. So long as the gameplay is good and tight, it should be playable, at least...

I may be buying a Wii just for Shikigami III.

I wouldn't mind seeing II's dialogue retranslated to make sense, but this will do nicely.

Yeah, the scoring system was weird, because sometimes I would score really high and others times I scored crappily at the end of the level gauge.

I think it had to do with using your shikigami and letting shots graze you, etc.

At least 3 will make all sorts of sense.

In regards to the scoring, I believe it took into fact the amount of coins you collected, how many bombs you have remaining and how many times you died.

I still can't clear the game with no continues but my score went pretty high when I collected massive amounts of coins with my shikigami with 8x and not using the bombs. With that the highest rank I got was a green Rank 6, then I slipped up and got real sloppy in stage 4.

The gameplay is already great, I would just love to know what is going on with the story. It doesn't matter to a lot of people, but I am one of the curious ones.
