Well it's a title from a developer not known for a legacy of strong fighting games, and its "intriguing" ideas seem to be built around giving characters cookie-cutter movesets and removing any competitive value through NPC intervention, so

I'll admit it's a novel idea, but why won't IGA go with what's proven time and time again to be brilliant: the 2d 'Vanias?
Luckily we have OoE coming, but what about a console 2d game?

Iono why he believes transforming the franchise into Metroidvania and geting stuck with that was such a brilliant idea.

Wow...Konami just doesn't just care anymore with Castlevania, do they? Then again, they've been doing a good job with that since, what, Super Castlevania IV? Dracula X? Every game since Symphony of the Night looks exactly the same to me aside from gimmicks and grpahics.
