So far, SF4 only has the core 12 SF2 fighters, for new characters -- Abel, Crimson Viper, Rufus, & El Fuerte, and Seth, the new boss that looks kinda like Urien/Gill. The new anime opening teases Akuma and possibly Gouken, Ryu & Ken's sensei who was supposedly killed by Akuma.

I'm hoping there's much more characters to find.
