Contra ReBirth coming to WiiWare

Just like with Gradius, Konami is giving us a "remix" of levels from past Contra games & putting them into 1 WiiWare game for download on May 12th in Japan (no word on the US yet, but pretty sure it's coming). The game will have 2 player co-op (not sure about online) & costs 1,000 Nintendo Points.

Extra news: If you haven't heard, Konami's making a Salamander/Life Force Rebirth as well, along with placing the original Salamander/Life Force arcade game on VC Arcade.

Man, I'm totally digging these ReBirth games. Now, when will there be a TwinBee ReBirth & Parodious ReBirth?

If there ever will be a Parodius Rebirth, God willing, it had better feature every Konami character ever. I saw this one MUGEN video that featured shmup ships taking down huge bosses, including Dracula. I want to see what that's like.
