Seems kinda...bland. If the game were lower-profile and I hadn't heard anything about it, I'd bypass it if I just glanced over the cover in a store.

Was the Dawn of the Dead reference really necessary?
As stated before, for the plot similarities (but honestly, you can't expect people to not use Zombies and a Mall... thats like Vampires and a Castle.) This is also on the NTSC cover, capcom may be just covering their asses.

Is this game actually any good? I've been hearing about it, but it looks completely retarded. I wouldn't even pick it up if I was browsing through games at a store.

It's decent. It's the only game good on the 360 that I would even go close to remotely play. I heard of framedrops from other people when going through all 50 on screen destroyable zombies which sucks. The zombies die the same way everytime you kill them with the same weapon.

It's essentially what State of Emergency was meant to be, with a bit of River City Ransom thrown in for good measure. It definitely is one of the best titles for the 360 to date.
