Actually, according to Siliconera (which, BTW, has more info), there's 2 versions of Disgaea Portable in Japan. The 1st version didn't have multi-player but then was re-released as a budget title w/ multi-player added. We got lucky & got the 2nd version, the budget version (which is why the game got delayed over here). Right now, there's no mention of multi-player on the Japanese page, but who knows.

I ask because the PS3 is going to be getting (or has it released yet?) an app that lets
someone connect wirelessly to the PS3, and use it for Ad-hoc multi-player titles over PSN.

...Or something like that.

I think it's been released cuz I heard someone over in the DJ Max section about wanting to play DJ Max Fever w/ others over PSN.

I'm betting that since the last game had multi-player, they'll add it in this one, too.

The reason I say that is because the trailer says Summer but the press release says Fall.

WOW, that came out of nowhere. It seems it's coming out next Tuesday (Sept. 8th).

I should mention it won't have the multi-player that the 1st PSP Disgaea had.
