Maybe I'm just too early in the game, but, you can't teach Bow techniques to a Red Mage?

Check to see if she has an affinity for it or not. It's in the character status for the weapon's they're good at using.

If she doesn't, then that's your answer. It's probably like with Makai Kingdom on how you can get techniques for that...if you're a pro, then you can get it but if you want something else, you'll need to transmigrate to get it.

What you can do, is transmigrate to a class that is good with the bow (say... Female healer) and get the weapon mastery stupid high really quick. Then transmigrate back as a genius and only lose 5%. thats about as good as its going to get.

There is no weapon mastery, Neo. There is no spoon.

It works close to MK did in terms of skill/evility inheritance.

By the by, in chapter 6 now and HOLY SHIT. These maps are RIDICULOUS at times. I mean they REALLY want to make you mad this go round.

Yeah, overall difficulty in story maps feels amped up quite a bit, although that's not a bad thing in my opinion.

So far it feels like a whole new disgaea because they retooled everything for the previous, I actually really enjoy this so far, besides the fact that I had been waiting for it.

Also to gain skills from others you have to have someone in the student counsel so that the Prinny with the fro shows up and you can do Class Exploration or something like that and pay mana to learn a skill from others. I haven't done it yet but will do so in Post Game since Winged Slayer has been replaced by Winged Descent which hits 1-3-5 panel area now instead of 3x3

Agreed. I mean I jumped on the item world the minute it was open but the maps are a little worse this go round due to some of the added random geo effects on top of there seeming to be more enemies per map...maybe it's just me but it seems to be a bit harder than I'm used to. At least with the old ones I could somewhat power my way through it a bit faster.

Eh...just goes to show that I need to get some Statisticians and now Mentors up to 300 just like the first one.

but it sucks that statisticians are random now and not present on an item iirc, thus making it stupidly hard to find them =/
