Actually, this sounds... pretty awesome. I'm frankly a bit surprised that Disney went with this art direction, since it seems like it could paint some of their characters (no pun intended) in a bad light.
Hopefully they don't KH-ify the art too much, because the idea of a dark Disney world where the forgotten characters are seeking revenge on Mickey sounds deliciously vicious.
