Default DS question

If I have legally obtained .nds files, and a flash card reader, is it possible for the DS to read the .NDS files if I put it on a flash card?

I don't have a ds, but if this was the truth, I would so buy one

Uhm, not exactly, you need to place the info on either cartridge slot ( not the flash card reader slot), there're "blank" cartridges that are some kind of adaptator to insert roms but some ROMs won't play.

With the proper preperations, yes, Need a method of Jumping Code to the GBA slot, or a DS only solution.

By Jumping Code to the GBA slot, I mean forcing the DS to read the GBA slot in DS mode, which lets it execute NDS software from there.

This is done with a variety of things:

1. PassMe - Requires an original DS game, and on V3 DS's and up, some work to make run.

2. WifiMe - Requires an original V1 or V2 DS. No other DSes work, also requires a compatible RALink based Wireless G card.

3. NoPass - Similar to a PassMe device, except without needing an original DS game.

4. FlashMe - Removes the need for any kind of extra work, insert the GBA cartrage and turn the system on. Also introduces protection from the DS Brickers out there. This however does require flashing the firmware on your DS, Its easy to do but if youre afraid, Ill do it for you.

Now you also need a GBA cart compatible with launching NDS Code (not all of them are)

Ouch... that's not what I like to hear. I like FlashMe, by the sound of it, but I'm guessing there's no perfect way to run all NDS files?

M3 Perfect runs 99% of games perfectly, the games it doesnt run can be obtained second hand for 2.99 for a reason.
