 DS vs DS lite: Do YOU think it's better?
This is a question for DS owners, or soon-to-be DS owners. Do you have issues with the regular DS? In size, shape, bulk, screen, looks, whatever. Here's my opinion:
I am fine with the DS, but there are some reasons I want to upgrade to the lite.
The DS lite has a shiny plastic cover like an apple notebook, so the paint won't peel off. plus the DS is silver, while the DS lite is pure bright white, which looks better. And the DS lite is smoother, both the feel and look. And it's all white, not black on the bottom like the DS.
About size, it's not too much of a problem. But sometimes I get finger-aches because of having to put my thumb on the bottom and fingers over the L/R buttons, that could get uncomfortable, and there's no finger rest. The lite is smaller, so that wouldn't be a problem. And the DS can't fit in my GBA case without a struggle, but the lite probably can. And of course the stylus would be harder to lose or drop or break.
Brighter screen = Better color. I was fine with the DS's light, until I saw the lite. The screen was soooo bright, and it brought out the color tons of times more than the DS. The comparison is not questionable.
