So basically (& obviously), Metroid: Other M is Ninja Gaiden + Metroid. Awesome combo.

Oh, & Capcom's secret E3 game is Resident Evil, specifically designed for PSP Go. Considering so many people were hoping for something different (sequel for Okami, Mega Man Legends, Viewtiful Joe, Strider, etc), this is kind of disappointing.....

They showed off their own goddamn motion controller, a few good PS3 games like God of War 3, and... Gran Turismo PSP (FINALLY).

Sony showed off a bunch of exclusive games, more online content than you can shake a stick at, and the best looking motion controls of any of the systems.

Microsoft had like, 3 exclusives, 2 of which were Halo games, and one on XBLA. Also, see the one image posted earlier about their motion controls. The best things they showed off were FFXIII gameplay, MGS:Rising teaser, and Modern Warfare 2 gameplay and none of those are exclusives.

I think my jaw still dropped the hardest over Metroid: Other M though.

I said whoa plenty of times during Sony's press conference, but I said it more during Microsoft's. None of Sony's exclusive games announced were amazing enough that they made me want to go buy a PS3. Gran Turismo 5 was announced but I've got Forza, FFXIV I'll play on PC, I've never really been a huge God of War fan, and Uncharted and MAG, while both great looking games, aren't system sellers for me.

Sony's handheld lineup was pretty disappointing, granted, I am VERY interested in Gran Turismo PSP.

They were both pretty even on the online content front.

And you didn't count Forza 3 in your exclusives list for Microsoft.

Actually PSP's lineup has pretty much convinced me that I want a PSP, but I still won't get one for a while. Still got a lot of good use to get out of my DS and I don't need another portable right now.

Sony dropping the PSP dev kit costs by 80% made my jaw drop a TON. I'm seriously hoping that developers pick up on that and give us more good stuff.

Sony Freaking rocked this year. I'm sorry, but They were the only company showing large amounts of really new stuff. Microsoft may be pushing services into the Xbox Live Experience, but did they fucking forget what Nintendo forgot last year? Its about the Games. The new Halos dont look all that interesting to me and everything else they talked about is Multiplatform, meanwhile, Sony is pushing a new SKU, Massive Action Game, all sorts of new features. And they talked about their motion controller. I'm sorry, but given the option between all 3 motion controllers, I would want to use Sony's. It just seems so much more intuitive.

Now its time for the WTFs:
Facebook. I am so sick of hearing about this website that I could hurt someone. I really don't want to ever have the option of Extending the time I spend on facebook into my game experience.

New Super Mario Bros. Uhhh... I'm scared. Is Nintendo pushing a 4 player version of a DS game thats 3 years old or so? If so, Not interested. There should really be new content in there. If there isn't, than you're just pissing everyone off Nintendo.

Two Announced Halo games over at MS. Jesus christ find another game to sell your console. If I see another human being on Team Fortress 2 that thinks its acceptable to teabag because of your fucking game I swear to god I'm blowing up Microsoft Campus.

Sony. Have you people not yet realized that nobody cares about Little Big Planet? Its a great game and all, but its not earth shattering like the game that Nintendo Published in 1985 that shares A LOT of gameplay mechanics with it. User Created content is quite possibly a big part of the future of video games, just not in the 2d platformer genre, you retards.

Nintendo. Way to announce everything for 2010. What actually comes out this year is good, but I'm looking forward to 2010 more. God damnit.

EA. The fact that I cannot yet see Brutal Legend in my sleep is proof that you ARE NOT MARKETING THIS GAME ENOUGH YET.

You didn't rip into Nintendo for showing two new Mario games, but you ripped into Microsoft for showing two new Halo games. Nintendo was based upon Mario, Microsoft was based upon Halo.

Halo is no longer the sole system seller for Microsoft, nor is Mario the sole system seller for Nintendo.

Yes, the reason for that is because Nintendo's 2 Mario games are distinctly different in how they play. One is a classic 2d Mario game that 1985 knows and loves. the other one is one of those new fangled "Lets see if we can make Super Mario 64 again" 3d games. Microsoft is producing 2 shooters, and while yes, Master Chief isn't in one of them, People are still going to play it for one thing, and that's Deathmatch, and there's no reason getting excited over what will boil down to two Identical deathmatch experiences after both games have been out for 2 months.

I thought they said NSMB for Wii was a totally new game? I could be mistaken, but idk. It looked like it could be a fun game to play with 2 or more people but playing solo is probably lame (just like any other 2D Mario Bros. game was, I never was a fan really). The graphics on it aren't all that great either.

I lol'd at this. I enjoyed LittleBigPlanet but it was all hype. I think the Zero Punctuation review of it pretty much nailed it. I really don't care about LBP for PSP either.

That new kart racer, Mod Nation Racers, looks like it has a very good level design program. I'm not a fan of kart racers at all, and I probably will not buy this game, but I really want to play with that level designer. If only Gran Turismo 5 would have a level editor oh man.

I still get psyched for Halo because I like the story. I haven't played Halo multiplayer in months. I can totally understand you not liking it for that aspect though.

Halo: Reach is the prequel to it all, which, if I'm not mistaken, will follow the basic plot from the novel Halo: The Fall of Reach. ODST will be cool for the whole gameplay from multiple angles aspect, I'm thinking like Halo 2 (Chief and Arbiter) but much more varied.
