I wonder how much it'll cost seeing as I'm gonna have to buy 2 of them & how improved it'll be. Not to mention if this is for specific games or this'll work on every Wii game released so far.

Well, Microsoft's press conference is being shown on G4. It's almost halfway done (ends at 3 PM EST). Some release dates have been announced. RE5 will be out worldwide March '09 on Friday the 13th (Japan gets it a day early), Gears of War 2 on Nov. 7th, & Fable 2 in October.

Avatars have been announced & the new Xbox Live Interface. It just looks like the Wii's interface, only in 1 row instead of a 3x4 grid...

For new games, Uno Rush (big deal), Geometry Wars 2 (coming next month only on XBLA), Galaga: Legions, a "true sequal" to the original made 20 years ago, Portal: Still Alive (XBLA), & a South Park game (XBLA).

Netflix teamed up w/ Microsoft so you can watch Netflix on XBL.

Original Banjo-Kazooie coming to XBLA. Guess that means it ain't coming to the Wii's VC...

The Wii Motion Plus thing will probably be packaged in with Punch-Out!! Wii if anything. The complaints for Wii Boxing were all about how it didn't follow your hands well enough but this would definitely remedy the situation, and be something the "hardcore" people would all buy (if they're smart). Mix that with the Wii Fit board for ducking and dodging (and perhaps dipping, but not diving...but yes, more dodging) and you'd have the perfect boxing game.

Whoa holy shit Final Fantasy XIII for 360 as well. Well, there goes my reasoning for ever getting a PS3.

Lips (created by iNiS, who did Ouendan & Gitaroo Man) was shown & if you have a Zune (or ironically, an iPod), you can connect it to your 360 & you can sing to music that you have.

Set list of Rock Band 2 (on front page) has over 80 MASTER tracks on the disk. More info from BemaniStyle here. Also, AC/DC will be in-game characters.

Infinite Undiscovery coming Sept. 2nd. Star Ocean: The Last Hope coming Spring '09. The Last Reminant is coming Nov. 20th & also coming to PC.

FINAL FANTASY XIII COMING TO XBOX 360!!! It was the last thing shown at MS's conference, but they wanted to have the camera so far back that you can hardly see the words or the action on the screen.

My thoughts: OK, so we got a bunch of release dates, some new Xbox Live Arcade games & some "family" (You're In The Movies, Scene It!, etc.) ones, & the shock of FF13 coming to 360. Yeah, what about NEW games? There was hardly any. All the "new" ones are, like I mentioned, coming to XBLA & those family ones. & that whole new My Xbox doesn't really make me excited.

Wonder if there'll be someone starting a petition like with Devil May Cry 4.

Sony better have something up their sleeve. Otherwise, PS3 isn't looking at a bright future.

They will not say how many disks it'll be, as it's "still undecided"

No motion controls will be used & the PS3 & 360 versions will be the same.

360 version has only been confirmed in America so far & there's a good chance it won't be coming to Japan.

Final Fantasy 13 Versus isn't going to be multiplatform.
