Default Elite Beat Agents vs. DS Touch Screen

Just curious...

The most FURIOUS TRIPPING DICKS action on the touch screen is the spinner on EBA, AFAIK. How have many fared in terms of the touch screen not being scratched? I tried it myself at a few demo Lites out there but I could not determine it due to obvious fags scartching the screen on purpose.

After playing for about two-three weeks combined and still scoring very well in both Ouendan and EBA, my screen is still fine. It takes some practice to get enough control, but you can definitely pull off any of the spins without scratching the screen.

Get screen protectors, rule out scratches. some nice Hori protectors will save your DS, i've been using them for over a year now, and they're holding up like champs.

I have played both game on hardest difficulty, and my screen looks perfect still.

I, too, have whored both games to death with nothing happening to my touch screen.

Same here. It's a lot easier if you spin those things when holding the stylus at an angle. That awkward black "stylus" that Walmarts and Targets have at their demo kiosks don't work very well...

About three weeks of nonstop playing did nothing to my screen. Then again the scratches are very easy to fix.

Despite what everyone else says, I'd still recommend a screen protector. From my experience, those EBA spinners are pretty rough on the screen. I haven't got any scratches yet, but I'd rather be safe then sorry, you know? I don't wanna damage my pretty pink DS. :: huggles pink DS ::

I've seen some ugly damage done to demo DSs...a while back, someone apparently took the "stylus" used for the demo and stabbed the TS. Hard. It had these spindly cracks running out to the edge from the rough center of the screen, and the liquid crystal was all over the place making cool color patterns. It was both sad and interesting at the same time.

Mine scratched a little. Cuz someting fell onto the screen while I was spinning and it somehow got under the stylus and scratched it.
