yea id have to say Wal*Mart display items are impossibly destroyed. I almost feel sorry seeing a PS2 controller without analogs. it looks like its missing teeth.

Do the newer DSLite models have better/thicker screens? they seem to take more wear and tear better

Could always try the not caring approach, that I use. I don't have any scratch on mine. I think people scracth with the side of the stylus' point. I don't use my DS that much it is more of a paper weight that hold EBA for my random fix.

I've got a black DS lite and I tend to scratch up palm pilots REALLY bad but my DS looks awesome. Not a scratch. While I haven't played Elite Beat Agents, mine has survived Brain Age and Meteos.

Meteos isn't that much of a screen scratcher. Maybe in fury, but not in gameplay.

Much like how everytime i mess up in Jumpin Jack Flash Sweatin is a top screen cracker.
