Ever since Guilty Gear died, I lost all interest. 3s and MvC2 got old a decade ago.

Disagree. The majority of tournament winners don't even use Magneto or Cable anymore, and thus many people wish to change the "official" top tier to Storm and Sentinel only.

Strategy that was used a year ago is now dominated by today's strategy. The game is still evolving. Duc Duo won 2k6 with Spiral on point, ffs.

Smash, though. Pity they got rid of it.

I'm guessing it was Spiral chip damage followed by sentiels usual assist huh?

I would go if I didn't suck at MvC2 so much. I've thought many a time about taking Cable-a/Sent-y/Akuma-y and just running amok (with a Shun Goku Satsu on a live recording).

Not that that'll actually happen, seeing as how I can't play Sent worth a damn.

Shin Goku Satsu isn't as good in any Street Fighter as you might think. All the opponent has to do is hold up to get out of it, even if they're already on the floor and rising.

Accent Core was excessively changed. Most people I know didn't like that.

I personally like what I'm seeing in that game :3 Specially the competitive level, and the fact that some characters got enough changes to consider them totally different from their past incarnations.
