I was looking forward to this. I wonder why Nintendo said no?
We could always hope they would sell the rights to another company.

That's pretty stupid and not funny.

It was turned down because FF4 was a buggy game and Tecmo didn't want to go back to iron out any of it for a US release and Nintendo wasn't going to do it since they only have publishing rights. Tecmo could take the rights back for themselves and release it anyway if they wanted.

Considering NOA's decisions during the last months, I wouldn't be surprised.

Based on sales that is what they want, so it wasn't a totally stupid decision.

Meh.

I wasn't going to get it either way. Can't make one better than the first one no matter how hard they try. (even though FF1's final boss was extremely easy).

Plus I don't own a Wii, nor do I desire owning one.

I hope it's ported to Ps2/Ps3/360 where it belongs.
