Mine has to be DoDonPachi Dai Ojou, even though that game likes to make me it's bitch past level 2. I love the music and the doll designs.
As for what I want to play, I've been dying to try out Deathsmiles. I can't afford a moon X-box, sadly.

Me: I'm not seeing it. I know Gundam vs Gundam is awesome and all, but Victory Gundam kinda sucks.
Friend: NOT THE GUNDAM, THE GIRL BEHIND YOU!
Me: Wait what?!? Oh fuck! AN EIGHT! SHE'S AN EIGHT!
Friend: Whatever man. You're garbage. Enjoy your Victory Gundam.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I'm going to download M.U.S.H.A tomorrow on the Virtual Console. Downloaded Detana!! Twinbee & it was OK. Gradius ReBirth was great, though. Worth the $10/1,000 Wii Points.
I also REALLY want to try Otomedius & the Parodius series. I should also get back into Castle of Shikigami 3.

I also REALLY want to try Otomedius & the Parodius series. I should also get back into Castle of Shikigami 3. | I really want to play Otomedius. Its sitting here. On my desk. Begging to be played. However, I lack the J360 required.
Do NOT do yourself the disservice of playing Parodius games on anything but a real cabinet. Trust me. It was worth the wait. If you want to play them and you're in the Jersey area, give me a PM. I'm pretty much down for whatever. I have Gokujyou Parodius here, and Sexy Parodius on the way (thanks Kris). Parodius Da! to follow the acquisition of a J360 and Trisync Arcade monitor.
I also have for a limited time, Twinbee Yahoo.
My favorite shooter still has to be Gradius Gaiden or Jikkyō Oshaberi Parodius ~ forever with me ~ (The PS1 release. the SFC release sucked ass). Either one really. They're both high up there on my "best games ever" list.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | The closest I'll be able to play any of the Parodius games is the Parodius Collection for PSP if I ever get to import it (which I doubt). I don't live anywhere near a good arcade (*SIGH* sucks to live in the middle (literally) of Michigan).
Another shmup I seriously need to play is Ikaruga. I've always wanted to play this, especially since it's made by Treasure. If I ever get a 360, that's the 1st game I'm going to download.

Anyway, in no particular order: - Darius Gaiden
- Twinkle Star Sprites
- Gradius III
- Gradius V
- Gradius Gaiden
- Gradius Rebirth
- X-Multiply
- Gokujou Parodius
- Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius
- G-Darius
- Space Invaders Extreme
- Trizeal

Half the moon games I see for sale are cave shooters, and even in America we got Triggerheart Excelica and Ikaruga on the marketplace, along with that Raiden Fighters collection which you can pick up pretty cheap at any game store.
Still, if you can't wait, you could always find a copy of the Gamecube version of Ikaruga. Or just buy a dreamcast.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | & it's also hard to find a copy of the DC/GCN version of Ikaruga. Believe me, if I ever find a copy, I'm buying it. & Triggerheart Excelica looks interesting, but I heard they removed some stuff from the JPN version when putting it on the US XBLA.
I also need to try Treasure's Radiant Silvergun.

(Pisses me off)'
But it is worth it for direct access to the bonus stage of Parodius Da!, Gokujyou Parodius and Sexy Parodius with one touch access. Thats really the only reason I keep that game on my PSP. Quote:

I'd go for the PS2 or the Dreamcast version if you're big into STGs, but they're more of a peripheral interest to me so I was fine with the XBLA port. It's not terribly hard, but the anchor mechanic is fun as hell and makes it worth playing.
