Play Parodius Da! arcade, set the machine difficulty to hard, and use the Oh my God powerup at the end of level 3. You won't recover. I bet money on this.

Wow, only 2 mentions of Mushihimesama. Game is stupidly hard. Finally got it down to 1 continue on Ultra mode. Mushihimesama is probably my favorite shmup game right now followed by Ikaruga

Nope, it's a Nintendo/Akira collaboration. It has has two selectable ships, a chain-based scoring system and also online rankings. Here's the official site.
I seriously hope it makes it onto the US DSiWare. I'm gonna add some points to prepare for it's arrival.
Why not do a South Korean release instead. Japan is extremely xenophobic when it comes to video games. I bet Capcom had to tell the public that GTA is Scottish (or British for Stories games) and not American for it to sell. The South Koreans are much more open to American made games than the Japanese.
