Is there anything Germany won't ban (I'm no fan of the game by the way).

The screen wills spin and battle music will start to play. You and drunk friends will be forced to stand in a line rocking back and forth holding over sized swords. A group of retarded looking monsters will appear and you will take turns hitting each other. When it is all over you will get 648 Gil and a fire ring. Why the 12 foot tall monster with no hands had a fire ring that fits everyone from you to your grandma will still be mystery to man.

When are people going to learn that media violence only effects people who are already prone to violence. Translated : You might get an idea from some fucked up serial killer movie and carry it out, but the movie itself won't cause you to develop the intention. For example, I want to rob a bank and I really want to do it. Then I see Ocean's Eleven and think how they did it is a good idea, and follow their plan.

What's next, getting Mario games banned because two people shooting up people and named themselves Mario and Luigi?

Must go to Germany and commit mass murders under the name of our lord and master: "DR SUESS!" I claim the name "Lorax".
*Oh shit, now the FBI is going to be spying on me, damn you Himawari*
Seriously, that just makes me ashamed to be... oh wait for once I don't have to say American. Hey everyone, look, other countries do stuff that is just an embarassment to their nation due to issues of Political Correctness! Germany has always been uber strict on these issues though. I remember there was a big deal about the color of blood in their games. Real stupid petty shit, but their country has only been a free and united nation for how long now? 18-ish years? I guess we are so used to having the natural rights of freedom of speech, that it shocks us when we realize other areas still don't.

Australia immediately comes to mind. New Zealand, uh South Korea just had some issues with Splinter Cell. Saudi Arabia banned Pokemon...
I think we are just used to having freedoms? Considering the only game that is banned in the U.S. is "The Guy Game", the issue has never really come up. The only reason it even got banned was because it has what is technically child porn. The one girl was only 17.
