First PS3 arcade hardware and Tekken 6

Don't get me wrong, i love tekken (especially tag and 5), but this just looks like the same ol' thing. I was expecting a bit more. Maybe it's just the trailer though~ But from seeing it, it doesn't give me any reason to jump for joy.

As for Leo ~ I have the feeling it's a girl TRYING to look like a guy to join the tornament. Of course, why she tries to look like a dude is unknown ^_^

Also the fact that theres only 2 new characters for base play means there could be a whole ASS load of unlockables, HOPEFULLY not in the form of an expansion that involves anything like Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection. It would be nice if they pulled a seperate mode for Tag and just incorperate it into the main game instead of pulling a T5 for ps2 that had the previous titles bundled in on the disc BE SPECIFIC people, else we will have that happen. And yeah I'd like to see T4's background interaction included RIGHT this time as well .

The gameplay portions of the trailer were pretty cool, now I've got a real good reason to lay down the cash for PS3.

For some reason that picture of leo just screamed "Roxas" to me. anyone else? He does have his feminine characteristics, but that is simply because of how young he is. You see all the time in Anime and Video Games, the younger boys have feminine characteristics. THat's really all they did here.
As for the game itself. two new characters (plus the two from DR [almost typed DDR lolz]) will make it very interesting. who knows, mebe a new jack, or kazama/mishima relative as well ^_^!.
It looks good. I wish i had the money for a PS3, and if i do get enough, this is a game i'll definately get.

It's defiantly going to be worth the cash from what it looks like. The thing that I hope they have is that they give us more suites like in DOA4, not the ones where you can edit only 2 suites and buy a select few for some characters. Not to mention now that now that we can use the accessories, this can possibly build cheaters if it goes online for the PS3. But overall, I think it looks great.

It honestly looks like Tekken 5.5 DR, but as long as there's good individual character improvement, new moves, and maybe a few new gameplay mechanics I'm good to go. They took a HUGE step in the right direction as far as balance with DR, and I'm hoping they keep taking those steps. True balance can never be achieved in a game without it getting boring, but you can try dammit.

I know this sounds stupid, but I don't see namco going wrong with this at all. THey only namco game (that I've played) that i didn't like, was Tekken 4. And that ones more of a don't like, I actually enjoyed it for a while when it came out. THe soulcalibur series made a HUGE step in the right direction with 3, and all its new features. Here's to hoping Tekken 6 turns out the same way.
BTW, do you think a Custom Character Creation mode would wrk on tekken? I used to not think so, but SC3 made it work really good.

That's because that's the first person I've ever seen outside of soul calibur with that specific fighting style, the new stages look beautiful, jack got bigger as usual, the two other characters don't really fit, but hopefully it'll be more balanced than 5 was.

SOmeone didn't read the rest of my post...
SC3 was by far the GREATEST fighting game created to date. The Character creation mode was highly customizible, with the jobs, and also the added bonus of the two bars at the bottom, that decided the voice and movents of your character, along with a crapload of items for it. It also blended seemlessly with the already established characters, and the color edit was a nice bonus too. the bonus characters were awesome, especially the revival of Hwang and Li Long. And you see the shopkeepers throughout the game, and finally you get to a point where you actually UNLOCK them. There was only one non-playable Character (who was the final boss, but they did that in Tekken5 right?[jinpachi]) The Chronicles of the Sword mode was an interesting twist the usual Sc3 gameplay, and unloicking everything, was really fun, and it took me awhile too. The re-vamped movelists were sweet, and the addition of Zasalamel, tira, and Setsuka was very interesting. Also, abyss and olcadan were very fun characters, and Night Terror anyone? I could go on for a VERY long time (as i already have) about this game, and why it is such a great addition to any fighting game fans collection, but first I'll let you back up your statement, since I obviously am not playing the same game as you.
