Now, I know this is a semi-old game and all, but~

I just finished it not too long ago and heard that they were going to release an expansion for the game. I only have one question before that happens:

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME THE ENDING OF THIS GAME?

The entire time I was going through it, not only was I freaking out and had a LOT of distractions in the room, but I must have missed an awful lot in order for me not to comprehend just what was going on.

And so that we don't ruin this for anyone else because it was such a good game, can you put up one of those *spoiler* windows so whoever WANTS to see it can?

Short version spoilers GO!

Harlan Wade used his 14-year-old daughter Alma as the test subject for Origin(which the Dept. of Defense renamed Perseus), the project to make a soldier who could control an army with his mind.

Alma's first child, the first prototype of the Origin project, is YOU. Your character wasn't strong enough psychically to control an army, so instead you were raised as a super-soldier(as part of the project Icarus).

They implanted another embryo in Alma and that second child was Paxton Fettel, your "brother", who WAS strong enough to control an army with his mind.

The reason Fettel went crazy is Alma was awoken and telepathically linked with him and broke him out of his containment, using him to kill everyone involved with Origin.

All that weird shit at the end was because now Alma had been freed and apparently wanted revenge or something because you killed Fettel.

OMG - that explanation (spolier) is SO FUCKING crazy. I can't wait for the expansion now. Thanks a bunch!
