i have finaly got driving under control, mostly lol. anyone else flown through the windscreen if you hit something a full speed. i didn't know what had happened till niko hit the floor.

This is my new favorite game.

"A Rainbow of Curved Air"? "Pruit Igoe"? Two of the best ambient pieces of all time.
And I'm surprised Black devil Disco Club made it on. Considering his records were released in the late 70's and still hold up to all of today's Electro.
But aside from the soundtrack the gameplay is seriously addicting shit. And it's BEAUTIFUL.
Though I have to admit that I tend to lose interest when it's car chase after car chase. Especially when the chases are fixed, so you can't either a.) kill your target before they reach their "destination" where they will magically become vulnerable again or b.) can't REACH your target until a certain point. It's also annoying when the game doesn't TELL you when you can not kill a target. Or when you can't steal a specific car before your target can use it.
But overall those are small complaints. And Radio Broker is fucking hilarious shit, especially because I hate hipsters so much :D PS: For the motorcycle chase. Wait until you all enter a park, if they don't jump off their bikes, shoot one of the gang members off. They will all jump off. Then just cover behind trees. Also use the bridge for cover. Quote: |

So, if anybody with the PS3 version of the game has had problems with the game freezing on the loading screen, apparently turning off the internet connectivity in the PS3 options will get you around it.
Here's hoping for a patch soon!

I just posted that because it related, my co-worker brought that information into our store today and after reading over it I felt like either PS3s are retarded or the people who worked on the game are retarded. I mean fuck, look at all the ridiculous shit you have to do to get a single video game to work, a game that has been in waiting for a long time and had such a huge release. And that's just for PS3, who knows what kind of fix they'll have for 360.

Having to start GTA VC over three times is what killed the game for me.
It's a bit rediculous that not only can take 2 still not remove game breaking bugs, they are still finding ways to make players start a hugely massive game over multiple times.
Hasn't happened to me yet, but I don't think I'll have much patience for that shit if/when it does.

I actually got to play this for the first time today at my cousins house on the 360 & all in all the new engine is amazing. The missions seem easy, and I was laughing so hard at all the parody's (Times Square billboards, all the graphics on the computer at the internet cafe) We stopped at the mall, and I was so hesitant on picking up the Limited Edition.. | |
