This is going to be the coolest thing in the world, or complete ass. I'm leaning towards the latter.

GG does have a massive story just waiting to be expanded on.

i dont like the way that sounds, you use the main fighters from GG as commanders!? then what, you fight in 3-d as the pawns? who the F will they be?

This is an incredibly stupid thing to do to a franchise that doesn't need anything like this. It could be great but I'd prefer more actual Guilty Gear games.

Guilty Gear Isuka was a product of this bullshit. So was Slash (but Slash was actually decent despite them not wanting to make it and focus on Accent Core) Also Dust Strikers. What the fuck does Dust Striker even mean anyway?

Anyway this shit will suck.

I mean I can see people like Sol being a commander with possibly Axl, Anji, and Chipp being pawns. Johnny being a commander with Dizzy, May and Testament as pawns. Slayer being a commander with Zato/Eddie, Millia and Venom as pawns, etc (hey fags this is the part where you're supposed to go BUT THOSE GUYS ALL HATE EACHOTHER MILLIA WORKING WITH VENOM ARF ARF ARF)

It's going to suck though. I don't see how this could possibly be good. I just picture that shitty RTS/Fighter from Soul Calibur 3 with Guilty Gear characters.

I liked Isuka too (especially in its beat-'em-up mode) and Dust Strikers was tolerable, but this is going too far.

And you mean really, really gay version of Ky, right?

I think they're calling it Guilty Gear 2 because that way, they can continue the fighting series with XXXXXXXXXX Magnum Opus Devilsaurus or whatever and 2 can be....garbage I guess.

Why do all the chars I like are classified as "gay"?

I would rather hold my judgement and wait until this game is finished. As I said in other forum, maybe Daisuke Ishiwatari's obsession with perfection may also work here, and we'd get a better game than expected.
