There will also be 26 unlockable songs, but RedOctane is keeping those secret.
If there's one thing that tick's me off, it's that there is no Coheed and Cambria on here. It would have nice to been able to play the wicked solo on The Final Cut.
If you have anything to say, please comment. Thanks

As in, this is on the front page of the site. And you are not the originator of such news.
In other news, THANK GOD there's no Coheed and Crapbria. It's bad enough that Avenged Sevendorks made an appearance. RHH and Suicidal Tendencies balance them out, though. Megadeth just makes me happy.

Marketplace Rating: 0 | 'Sup couple of good songs that will no doubt have shitty covers?
Heh, no, I (mostly) kid. I figure there will only be one song that will have such a shitty cover that I can't play it (Heart-Shaped Box), just like there was only one in the first game (Infected). The Iggy Pop, BUtthole Surfers, STP, and a few others are really nice to see, though. Looks like this will have more for me to do than the first.
Also, on the subject of Coheed & Cambria: No matter what is the worst song of the moment, or the shitty new TRL video of the day, Coheed remain the biggest joke in the music idustry of this decade. (And, yes, I'm aware they put out their first EP in '99, but they didn't get truely embarassing until The Second Stage Turbine Blade.)

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I've completed Frequency and Amplitude, both on insane mode, but I hate Guitar Hero.
Can't they just make Amplitude 2 already? Jesus. I don't want some plastic guitar just to play a game.
...yes, I'm well aware I'm in bemanistyle, infested with children and their plastic Pop'n, IIDX and Taiko no Tatsujin controllers. But still, I don't want to fork out the extra money for something that's only available and usable on TWO GAMES. One, which isn't even out yet. And it doesn't even work with Frequency or Amplitude.
Now, I'm well aware that they made Amplitude and Frequency 2 years prior to Guitar Hero, but it's just annoying. At least with a Pop'n Music or IIDX controller, you have the choice of 5-10 games. There's variety. There's something which I don't see in these Guitar Hero games.
I'm not a fan of Guitar Freaks either, but whatever. Same shit.

I think it's pretty obvious where I'm going with this one. Even though you can play the games with a regular PS2 controller, they weren't designed to be played that way. Their purpose was to emulate the arcade style, and had they intended on people playing the games without the arcade controller, they wouldn't of released it in the first place.
This applies for all bemani games, as well as Guitar Hero. Just because I don't like the game as well as the controller, doesn't mean I'm necessarily going to change my mind if I'm capable of playing the game on an alternative one. Learn the fucking difference.

Actually, that face-off is pretty cool. Who cares if it's not how you're supposed to play? Games were meant to be fun. Play however you enjoy the game. And if you don't like a game, don't buy it. Simple as that.
So, just out of curiousity, though, how much would a Pink Floyd, Metallica, and AC/DC license all cost?
