Who cares? Metallica sucks (for the most part) AC/DC sucks (for the most part), and Pink Floyd in a guitar game just means long, boring solosthat consist primarily of holding down one fret for 8 minutes. On average, you'd have to actually strum/pick probably...twice each eight measures? Heh.

Well, actually, the first IIDX CS release was a compilation of the first three AC releases. (I guess four, if you count Substream.) If you're going to be anal, make sure you check your facts (anally).

Was it anal? :/ I really didn't see it or mean it as such, but the arguement that there aren't as many guitar hero games as pop'n and IIDX games is is asinine. The series have been running for a significantly longer time period.

I was strangely thinking of "Money", good for bass... but that's it.

Brick in the wall part 1 would be good for beginners.

Thunderstruck would be a good song to have in GH. And Big Balls could work for a beginner thing.

And it's really only the new Metallica stuff that sucks. Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets were awesome albums. Although most of the songs would be too long for GH. For Whom the Bell Tolls could still fit, though.

Come to think of it, though, Pink Floyd wouldn't fit in too well. Even though I'll contend that they don't suck.

So how about some Iron Maiden, then? Number of the Beast, anyone?

I like AC/DC's stuff before their first vocalist died (or whatever it was that happened). Everything after that was okay, except that every song after that sounded exactly the same.

For Whom the Bell Tolls I could see being fun, although I'm not a big fan of the track.

Iron Madien I honestly haven't listened to enough of to make an informed/pretentious call on. So I'll have to go with, "Sure, why not?"

AC/DC or Metallica in GH2 would be sweet as long as they got the right songs. Imagine Orion on there. Or And Justice for All. Not only would it be sweet, it'd be, you know, tough. Unlike GH1. Although everything I've seen on expert in GH2 looks way harder, which is good.

The song list is INCREDIBLY good. Stuff I wouldn't expect (The Stooges? The Living End? Suicidal Tendencies? Fucking right), good songs that I would love to play (Carry on Wayward Son, Beast and the Harlot, Hangar 18, FUCKING PRIMUS), and a bumped up difficulty? Sign me up plz.

Also, I'll be so fucking looking forward to Bass mode. My friends keep giving me weird looks when I play on GH by picking upwards. =\
