I'm having a hard time believing this isn't just some homebrew developed to be a hoax. There's no way the DS can maintain such a high framerate constantly.

Unlocked because those dates on IGN are wrong. The guys in the video are very clearly playing on the new crimson/black DSs which are only about 2 months old. Let the discussion continue.

Coming from someone who doesn't have a DS, that is incredibly awesome. Come to think of it, a lot of the stuff on the DS is. I should probably get one.

How would the controls work without 2 sticks for movement plus buttons for jumping/reloading/melee/switching weapons/etc?

Doh I was gonna say that too.
It's basically using the stylus as mouselook, D-Pad for forward/back/strafe, and the L button for firing (I hope autofire is on, It was a pain on the hands on MPH when you had to keep hitting L).

You're right...here's a blog entry on it, dated for the second of October. Goddamn, I can only imagine how much those carts would be worth.
