I got an Xbox from my friend about a week ago. So I'm playing Halo about 6 years late.

I'm terrible at FPS'. I keep dying on Level 2. What do I do in regards to the ambush ;(?

I also got Shenmue 2 (lol dubbing), Both KOTORs, Fable, Tron 2.0, DDR Ultramix 1 and 3 (I CANT FIND 2 ANYWHERE, BEST LICENCES), Jet Set Radio Future, and Pariah (I got it for a penny when I bought Ultramix one, some promotion when you buy an Xbox game)

What else is good? Ninja Gaiden Black? Jade Empire? Doom 3? Did they make KAMEO for the original Xbox? I can't wait to pick up and play through Conker again.

After the Pelican crashes? Run off towards the cliffside and you'll see a bridge. Cross it and head up the hill.

NG:B is very, very good. Jade Empire is okay but isn't anything special compared to KotOR. If you have a PC that can run it get Doom for that, otherwise, sure, the XBox version is a fine port. Find and buy Phantom Dust and Psychonauts. There are a lot of 2D fighters if that's your bag, though you'd want to pick up a stick of some kind since the XBox con doesn't work particularly well for the genre. Pump Exceed has a feature that lets you step music that you've ripped to your hard drive, so that's pretty cool. If you like driving sims Forza is excellent, in large part due to the paint feature. Dai Senryaku VII is a fucking blast but you might have some trouble finding it due to low demand for turn-based hex war strat titles.

And no, Kameo is 360-exclusive. Let me know if you want any other recommendations.

My brother, these are the games you MUST have:

-Otogi: Myth of Demons and Otogi: Inmortal Warriors. Probably the most fucked up and hardest action games for the XBox. No, seriously, they can be harder than Ninja Gaiden itself in some parts... and Michizane >>>> Murai.

-Forza Motorsport. The best serious racing game for XBox. Don't disable the mechanical damage unless you wanna make the game 80% less awesome ;(

-Conker: Live and Reloaded. It's cheap, it has the original Conker's Bad Fur Day (and you can disable the bad words filter), it looks great and the campaign mode is fun.

-Rainbow Six 3. Too strategic, and slow-paced, but overall excellent. Difficult level is high, too.

-Splinter Cell (any of them). Personal opinion, but I think the XB versions of these games are the best ones. Ignore all the "lol MGS ripoff" fuckers and get them, they're great.

Yeah you pretty much just have to be a badass and rape your way through. Use the pistol and try to herd them toward your marines with some grenades (I'm assuming you're playing on something less than legendary).

IIRC vivaldi already has Jet set radio future... and I didn't recommend him PDO because it's harder to find that thing than DDR Ultramix 2 :/

And that "MS loves KOF" thing is not entirely true. They simply don't care, "the more games, the better". And I'm still mad because SNKP USA cancelled KOF94 Rebout for XBox >_<

If you want to play a Splinter Cell game, go with Chaos Theory.

Its the best one and has the most online componets.

You can't disable the "bad word filter" on conker live and reloaded. I rented the game due to the fact thinking i could actually hear them say the bad words this time, and what do you know? It was the same game as the N64 with slightly better graphics. Same bleeping of words.

I think you need to beat the game first to be able to disable the bad words' filter.

Though there are some parts that wouldn't be LOLable, if the filter wasn't there.

I guess it would be hard to dub your way out of a paper bag... when you didn't dub the product to begin with. The English voice track is the same one available in the UK release of the dreamcast game :/ Hence why I own the UK version.
<edit> If your looking for Ultramix 2, check toys-r-us, around here, they're swimming with them, seriously, the one closest to my house has at least 3 new ones (and I even saw the bundle in there last time I was there, heh) If I go to the strip mall one a bit further out they have even more (Dare I say 10?) They're out there, gotta look! I've seen my fair share of PDO out there as well, an amazing game, and its even got the original game in it!

And while i'm at it I may as well recomend something.... Crimson Skies was a blast, Call of Cathulu (sp?) was a great use of the Morrowind engine, worth it if your looking for a horror type game. I wasted countless hours on Ghost Recon on live as well T_T

Only Xbox game I've kept is Halo 2 just because I like messing around on Live with friends, but a few other suggestions:

-If you're using the big Fatty McPatty controller (also known as the Duke by many), you may want to invest in an S controller. Friends with smaller hands may thank you if you ever try to do 2-player anything.
-Ninja Gaiden Black is an awesome game, but a lot of people found it too hard. I still had a lot of fun with it, though.
-I love Phantom Dust, but it's not for everybody. If you like card games (Magic, etc.) especially you may want to give this a try. It's $20 new and has Live support, so it's a great value.
-Halo 2 + Xbox Live. I never even played campaign on it outside of a pre-release French leak. Live makes everything better.

I'm pretty sure Microsoft doesn't even manufacture those anymore. The first and maybe 2nd generation Xbox came with those but I'm pretty sure they're an eBay collectible now.
