Going to be developed by Windysoft, and they are aiming for late 2007 release. I think its going to just use the versus matches from the ps2 and psp versions, and put them online. Also you make your own island, and have collectables gotten from stuff you got while playing, etc...

Gotta love Kotaku's random insults to some developer they know nothing about. I was actually under the impression that "Get Amped" was pretty popular.

Would be cool to see a lot of stages outside of Japan though.

If they could take a step further from the versus modes, that would be awesome. I'd play if they had some sort of a deathmatch mode where you try to roll up players. Although it would probably get really unbalanced once one guy has rolled up several players. D:

Maybe they could have it, that when the bigger player gets to a certain size, the other players increase in size to match him, ala "the rotate the camera, and play the woooo noise"
